Happy first day of 2023! After years of working alongside the top producing female entrepreneurs running their own thriving businesses and making well over 6 or 7 figures, what have I learned? Let me just say, I've learned more by watching, then doing. Keep reading...

Are you consistent in your habits? I am pretty sure you are when it comes to your personal life. You wake every day at the same time. You have a morning routine and maybe even a night one. There are things you do the same way, at the same time everyday.
Let me tell you. I wasn't always the most consistent or organized person you know. I made a few epic fails in business early on. However, I learned throughout the process and it helped me to grow to where I am now.
Where am I right now?
A week ago, I sat down and wrote this blog post just before going on a sabbatical. All summer I had been traveling and enjoying the downtime with my hubby. I took another week off to get the kids ready for the start of a new school year. I took another week off to rest and get my mind ready for the end of the year.
Finally, I was back to the swing of things. My life sounds pretty put together. But it wasn't always that way. It took years of observing the best to get to this point in my business.
My first two clients were millionaire women who had built their businesses from the ground up. After working with these two women for over a year, I soaked in all their knowledge. I learned how to not just be great as an Assistant but as a thriving CEO!
I became a leader and started leading my clients to success only by watching what these two women were doing. Take notes when you're working with your clients and ask questions. Questions will help you get clear on what your job description is supposed to be, but more importantly, it makes you more valuable to your client.
Clients get the sense that you are serious about your business, you want to grow and they are more susceptible to help you meet your goals if you help them meet theirs.
The key to having a thriving business is consistency. You can't get great at what you do some of the time. You have to practice consistently or do it enough times until you become great at it. It's how legends are made.
Your work ethic should become habitual, not occasional.
Here are the five habits I've learned from highly successful women CEOs:
1. Each day, say or write three things you are grateful for
A simple affirmation can give a boost to your mind and can make your day fruitful. Start saying some positive thoughts to yourself.
2. Find something that moves you forward every single day
Create a habit of reading daily. There are so many good books which will help you to achieve your goals.
A few of my favorites are listed in The VA Toolbox here under "Books"
3. Join like-minded people and learn from them
Connect with people who share your interests and hobbies. Leave your group if you are the most successful member in it.
4. Write, evaluate and work on our goals daily
Reading and visualizing are two things that happen when you read. Believe and feel it - that this is going to happen and work on making it happen
5. Exercise daily, make health your priority
The greatest asset you have is your health. If your health is good, your life will feel good as well. Take naps and get outside!
